Pat Waud, along with his wife Sue, are the owners of Holman-Hankins-Bowker & Waud and Cochran & Waud Sunset Chapel. Pat began his funeral career at a very young age. Growing up in Tillamook, Oregon, Pat helped his father and mother with the daily operations of the family mortuary until leaving for San Francisco School of Mortuary Science. In 1971, at the ripe old age of 26, Pat and Sue bought into Holman-Hankins & Rilance. Soon there after, Pat and his partner purchased Cochran's Sunset Chapel. With the retirement of Pat's partner a few years later, the Waud's found themselves the sole owner/operators of these two mortuaries. With great pride for his hard work, Pat has watched the success of Holman-Hankins and Cochran's over these many years.
In his spare time, Pat serves on the Oregon City Chiefs Advisory Board and the Oregon City Elks Lodge Business Advisory Board. With hard work and a sincere respect for his community, Pat has continued to serve families in the proud tradition of this 120 year old business.
