Annie Belle Jeffries of Warrenton, VA died on January 3, 2010 at Royal Haven, Front Royal, VA. She was born on July 22, 1932 in Rappahannock County, VA to the late Jonas and Mildred Alther. Annie worked as a purchasing agent for Medical Supply Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Berkeley E. Jeffries, Sr. She is survived by her children, Berkeley E. Jeffries, Jr. of Warrenton, VA, Mark Jeffries of Bristow, VA, Roxanne Owens of Warrenton, VA and Kelly Jeffries of Fairfax, VA. Annie is also survived by her brothers, Billy Alther of Madison County, VA, Jonas Alther, Jr. of Washington, VA, her sisters, Marie Brown of Charlestown, WV, Rebecca “Becky” Menefee of Houston, TX, eight grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 1:30pm at Moser Funeral Home, Inc., Warrenton, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service starting at 12:30pm. Interment was in Bright View Cemetery, Warrenton, VA. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Blue Ridge, 333 Cork Street, Winchester, VA 22601.
