ALLEN M. ''HARRY'' DUNN-Of Everett, September 21, 2006, at 86 years. Born in Passage West, County Cork, Ireland, and a longtime Everett resident, he was the beloved husband of the late Jacqueline B. (Cyr) Dunn. Loving father of Suzanne ''Suzi'' Dunn and Donald Oikle of Peabody, Michael Dunn and his wife Lynn of Reading, Margaret ''Peggy'' Burt and her husband Steve of Lynn, and Karen Dunn of Malden. Loving brother of Noel Dunn of Lynnfield, Frank Dunn of Hudson, NH, Eileen Zimmerman of Everett, Muriel Hurley of Everett, and the late Winifred Grace and J. Kevin Dunn. Cherished grandfather of Shawn, Matthew, Christopher, and Jonathan Burt, and Kenneth and Michele Dunn. He is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral from the J.F. Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Monday, Sept 25th, at 9 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6 PM. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
Mr. Dunn was a WWII US Army veteran, a retired longtime employee of GE, and an employee of J.F. Ward Funeral Home for most of his life. He was a member of the Saugus Elks and Pleasant Park Yatch Club, Winthrop. In his memory donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
