Rabun O. Smith

Rabun O. Smith, the founder and General Manager, is a native Georgian. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer, having graduated from The Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Nashville, TN and The Atlanta Law School. He is a Past President of the Georgia Funeral Director's Association and is a member of the Selected Independent Funeral Homes.

Mr. Smith is the former owner of Christopher-Smith Funeral Home. He founded Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in 1994.


Allen L. Tatman

Allen is a lifelong resident of Warner Robins. He is a graduate of Northside High School and the Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta.

Allen began his funeral service career at Christopher-Smith Funeral Home in 1982. Allen has worked at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home since it opened in 1994. He is married to Becky Tanner Tatman, daughter of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home co-founder Clint Tanner. Their son Matthew attends Huntington Middle School. The Tatmans are members ot Trinity United Methodist Church and Allen is a member of the Warner Robins Civitan Club.


Ricky J. Hamlin

Rick Hamlin was born in Perry, Georgia to the Rev.Olin and Mary Hamlin. He and his wife Janet have three sons. Jason, who works with the Henry County Sheriff's Office, and Cory and Adam who are very active teenagers. Rick enjoys being with his family, playing golf, hunting and being involved in Second Baptist Church in Warner Robins.

Rick graduated from Dodge County High School in Eastman and Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta. Rick's funeral service career began at McCullough Funeral Home in 1976. He joined the staff at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in 2001. Rick is a dedicated funeral professional and knows that God has called him to this profession.


Kenneth M. Smith

Ken was born at Tyndall Air Force Base in 1952, the youngest of six siblings and the only son. Born into an Air Force family, Ken lived in several places before returning to Panama City, Florida following his father's retirement in 1968.

Following graduation from Rutherford High School, Ken attended Gulf Coast Community College before joining the United States Navy. Ken worked at Southerland Funeral Home in Panama City, Florida throughout his high school and junior college years. It was under the watchful eyes of Ray and Steve Southerland that the seeds of love for the funeral industry were planted.

While in the Navy he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting degree from Central Texas College in Killeen, Texas. Immediately upon his retirement from the Navy in 1994, Ken began to work towards his dream of attending mortuary college. He graduated from the Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta in 1995. Ken joined the full time staff at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in 1996 and served his apprenticeship under Rabun O. Smith. Ken believes that being a funeral irector is more than a job, it is a ministry and a service to our community. Ken is now proud to call Warner Robins "home."

Ken is married to the former Leslie Wise, a life long resident of Warner Robins and long time employee at Robins Air Force Base. Ken has two daughters, Lydia Smith Harrison and granddaughter Reagan Leigh Harrison of Pensacola, Florida and Kenna Smith of Warner Robins. Ken and Leslie are members of the Warner Robins First Church of the Nazarene.
