Cremation Options
Cremation is a personal and family decision. The reasons for preferring cremation are varied. While your own personal preferences are extremely important to you; you may also want to discuss your choices with other family members. Some individuals may be hesitant to accept anything that is different from traditional burial. Others may be negative to the idea simply because they are misinformed. At the Colyer Funeral Home, we make every effort to answer your questions honestly, and offer you information you need to help make difficult decisions.
Direct Cremation
There are no rites, ceremonies, or gatherings. A direct cremation includes the necessary crematory and transportation charges; filing of the death certificate.
Cremation w/Graveside Service
Following cremation, the funeral home staff then assists the family in arranging graveside commital services.
Cremation w/ Memorial Service
Following cremation, the funeral home staff helps the family personalize a meaningful gathering. Burial of the urn is optional at this time.
